Brian Shull is the founder and principal of Shull Architecture, a residential architecture studio dedicated to designing timeless coastal homes grounded in New England tradition.

Brian has been designing professionally since 1997. He obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University and has since practiced architecture in some of the most historically preserved towns in New England and abroad.

​

With over a decade of experience in construction prior to founding the firm, Brian brings a builder’s mindset to every design — ensuring each home is as thoughtfully executed as it is beautifully conceived. This hands-on background informs a design process that balances aesthetics, craft, and constructability from the earliest stages.

His work focuses on high-end custom residences, with a specialty in shingle style architecture that honors regional heritage while embracing the ease of modern coastal living. From harbor front retreats to windswept bluff houses, every project reflects a deep respect for place, proportion, and the people who will live there. He is proud of his reputation for delivering efficient, high-quality, and on-time service, earned through close collaboration with clients, builders, and consultants alike.
